4th of July

4th of July

I haven't done a post in a while so I decided to participate in the Cuttin and Stampin Challenge today.
I made this card.

I used a cranberry card base from CTMH.  The patterned paper is Echo Park Dots & Stripes.  The stamps are CTMH.  The stars are cut with the Paper Smooches Cardbooking Dies.  The circle is from Spellbinders.  The twine is from Doodlebug.  I also used Wink of Stella in Silver.  Please let me know what you think.  Thank you!

Memorial Day Pocket Thursday

This week the Design Team used the
Paper Smooches Circle of Honor stamp set and
Doodlebug Patriotic Parade papers in their projects. These
are both available in the Cuttin and Stampin Scrappy Supply Store.

Our new challenge is to make a project
celebrating Memorial Day. There are so many
groups that collect cards for our soldiers and veterans, please
consider making a card for a hero to thank them for their service.

Hi Everyone,
Michelle here.  I made this page to prepare for Memorial Day.  I love these papers, stickers and stamp set.  It would be great for 4th of July too!

Pocket Thursday

Orange Team 14-18
Traditional Mother's Day
This week our challenge is to make
traditional Mother's Day projects, and that includes flowers!
The design team used the Paper Smooches Pretty Momma
stamp set and items from the Bazzill Vintage Marketplace
and Vintage Lace collection, and all these items

Michelle here,
I found these pictures of my Mom and I and decided for Mother's day it would be nice to make a page with them.  I was about 3 months old in these pictures.  I love how the page turned out.

Family Friday

April 29-May 5
Weekly Challenge - Mother's Day Without Flowers

Michelle here.
This week we are creating for the celebration of Mom's over at Cuttin' and Stampin'
We are using the Bo Bunny Modern Miss collection and Paper Smooches Scripty Sayings stamp set both of which you can find at the Cuttin' and Stampin' facebook store.

I decided to make a mini album for my mom of her grandkids for Mother's day.
I used washi tape for the cover and stamped in between the washi tape.  Then I embellished with die cuts and chipboard stickers.
For the pages I made them really simple with patterned paper, cardstock and a few brads as embellishments.

Thanks for looking.  Let me know what you think.

Showers

Orange Team 14-16 Challenge
April Showers
April is more than half over, and we can't get to
the May flowers without the April showers, so that's
this week's challenge - April Showers.
The Design Team has made some great projects using
the Pink Paisley Hello Sunshine stamp set and Paper Collection
which are both available in the

Hi Everyone it is Michelle.
Today's project is a page from my last summer's vacation.  We went on a 72 day road trip and on this day we were in Charleston South Carolina
and it was pouring rain.  I don't think an umbrella would have helped much on this day, but it was fun to play in the rain.

Play Group Hike

Hi Everyone,

Today I made a traditional scrapbook page, which I haven't done in a long time, but I only had a couple pictures from this hike and couldn't justify a whole project life page for these pictures.
I used all basic Grey products.  I love the bright bold colors.  Thanks for looking

Madge's Scrappin Lounge Embellishment Kit month 2

Hi Everyone,
Today I did a layout made with the kit I received from Madge's Scrappin Lounge.  Since I have been on a pocket page kit and not really doing many cards I decided to turn the cute card bases included in the kit into a pocket page.  I also thought that the clear 3x4 cards would be perfect for this page.  It was a quick and simple page to put together, but I like how it turned out, even if the pictures aren't great.

Thanks for looking let me know what you think.
